Honey River

Featuring Joey Sykes of the Babys, Honey River combines emotionally powerful songwriting with an Alternative Country feel . Undertones of the Eagles, and Tom Petty run strong through the lifeblood of these masters of Country Rock.

HONEY RIVER was formed in 2018 by songwriter/singer/guitarist Joey Sykes. Inspired by his many years of Nashville writing trips, and a love for Country Rock legends, such as The Eagles, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, and more recently, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, and other Country artists.

With songs like “Peace, Love”, “I Miss America”, and “Indian Summer”, written either by Joey Sykes or with some of Nashville’s “A-List” hit songwriters, mainly in Nashville or Southern California. The style of HONEY RIVER can be best described as Modern Vintage Country Rock.
